It is great fun learning about all the plants and creatures we share Chumbaria with, we have a database of flora and fauna and use the excellent iNaturalist app to upload what’s been spotted on our rounds. The app links to the website BioDiversit4All.org and the site has lots of helpful experts who will confirm your ID (or tell you you got it wrong!)
The pic is of a Napoleon Spider spotted on a crown marigold.
If you haven’t worked out why the spider is so named have a closer look!
