Portugal is indeed a beautiful country. It has many diverse regions and we are lucky enough to live in an area called the Silver Coast. Our nearest city, Leiria, is a great place to visit. With cobbled streets, quirky artwork, a castle on a hill and a peaceful river running throughout. Within an hour we can reach the beautiful beaches of the Silver Coast. From Nazare with its record breaking surf waves to little coves and miles of sandy beaches, we have a variety to choose from. If we venture a little further inland, we can visit stunning river beaches in the mountains, or valleys rich with vines and olives. There are many beautiful old towns and villages within easy reach. Chumbaria is in the middle of all of these stunning places to visit.
